The Role

Walmgres is seeking an experienced systems engineer to support our internal IT infrastructure. You will work in a small, highly technical team at both high and low levels of abstraction to significantly improve the platform's automation, monitoring and capabilities. The remit is wide, and you should expect to be challenged.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux infrastructure, workstations and open-source services.
• Manage identity, access permissions and device configuration, including mobile device management (MDM).
• Maintain security updates, monitor system health and investigate operational problems.
• Maintain backups and test recovery procedures so that systems and data can be restored when needed.
• Plan and carry out controlled changes, with clear checks and recovery steps.
• Document configurations, procedures and decisions, and help colleagues resolve technical issues.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Practical confidence administering Windows and Linux, troubleshooting across systems and services, and supporting colleagues with different technical needs.
• Confidence working with open-source tools, access controls and device management.
• Careful judgement, clear communication and a methodical approach to change.
• An understanding of why updates, tested backups and useful documentation are part of everyday infrastructure work.

Working here

This role is based on-site in Limassol. Occasional system checks, maintenance and incident response outside normal working hours may be required. Visa sponsorship is supported.
